Sacramental Preparation
Eucharist for Children
Help your child prepare to receive Jesus in First Holy Communion.
At St. Anthony
Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion
- Students age seven and older who have been baptized and completed two consecutive years of religious education in a Catholic program are eligible to make their First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
- A copy of the student’s baptism certificate is required because the parish notifies the church of Baptism when the child completes a sacrament. If your child was baptized here at St. Anthony the Abbot, please let us know, as we have the baptism information in our files. If your child was baptized at another church, we will need a copy of the baptism certificate.
- First Reconciliation is celebrated in December. First Holy Communion is celebrated in May.
