At the Holy Mass
Reverent service of the Eucharist
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are commissioned by the bishop through the pastor to assist with distributing the Eucharist at weekend and daily Masses and at special liturgies.
Pastoral consent is required. A minister must be a practicing Catholic, at least 21 years old, and a registered parishioner in good standing with the Church. Ministers should sincerely strive to live the Gospel in both their communal and personal lives.
No previous experience is necessary. Training is required.

Communion to the Sick & Homebound
The parish community has not forgotten them
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion may also be commissioned by the pastor to take Holy Communion to parishioners who cannot celebrate Sunday Mass with us, including those who are homebound, in nursing homes, or in the hospital.
These ministers are living witnesses that the community of faith remembers the absent sick, the elderly, and those who may otherwise feel unseen. Their presence draws each person into conscious communion with the whole Body of Christ and expresses the truth that, in a community of disciples, no one is alone.
