Respect Life
Giving witness to the Gospel of Life from conception to natural death.
Vision statement
We actively give witness to the Gospel of Life in our parish and community by promoting the dignity and sanctity of each human life from conception to natural death.
Mission statement
Our mission is to foster the deepest appreciation for the sanctity of human life through prayer, education, and the organization of opportunities to give witness to the Gospel of Life.
Core values
All our work is for the greater glory of God—Ad majorem Dei gloriam. We entrust our prayers and actions to the care of our Blessed Mother, Mary. We remain faithful to the authority of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and courageously strive to be Christ to others and to see Christ in others.
Prayer, education, and witness
Parish initiatives have included spiritual adoption, peaceful 40 Days for Life prayer vigils, presentations on human trafficking and other community concerns, the Initiative of the 22nd, and responses to action alerts from the diocesan Life Ministry office.
For more information about the Respect Life Ministry, contact Dr. Scott and Darby Whittier through the parish office.
