Mass is Opening to the Public

As we have heard yesterday, our Bishop is opening up daily Masses Monday through Saturday for the public.  (This does not include Saturday 4:00 p.m. Mass which is still suspended). This is great news!  But it also comes with challenges.  Please be aware that this has never happened before in the history of the Church so it is all new to all of us.  Please be patient as we muddle through this new experience.

I will be posting here some things you can expect when you come back.

First, if you are vulnerable, sick, or just not comfortable coming out at this time,  STAY HOME!  We understand and the Bishop has kept the dispensation for Mass attendance lifted indefinitely at this point.

Second, we have no idea how many to expect so do not be offended if there is no seating.  Social distancing is still required.  The church is set up already.  Please sit in delineated sections marked out in the Church.  Families in one household can sit together.

Third, please bring your own hand sanitizer to Church.  We are trying to have it at each door, but supplies are limited and hard to come by still.  Also, to be noted is the need to be wearing a mask upon entering the Church.

I will share more tomorrow.
