Parish Office Volunteers

Reception volunteers are often the first people visitors meet. They greet parishioners and guests, support the parish staff, answer telephone calls, transfer calls to the appropriate ministry or staff member, and take messages.



They also help prepare Mass intention requests, the prayer list for public display and pulpit announcements, and other assignments as needed—all with a joyful Christian spirit.

Volunteers generally serve three to four hours each week. Some training is required. Computer and secretarial skills are necessary, and proficiency in Microsoft Word is helpful.
